Southwest Trade School offers courses in HVAC, Appliance Repair, Electrical, and Plumbing. Our programs are fully online and utilize state-of-the-art Virtual Reality (VR) technology. Study at your own pace with flexible schedules designed to fit your busy life.
The courses are typically completed on average between 6-12 weeks. Our trade courses are all 120 hours and self paced. You can complete the course as quick as 3 weeks if you have 40 hours a week to commit. If you have 30 hours to commit you can complete it in 4 weeks.
Yes we do. Our goal is to not only help you get qualified in your specific trade, but also to assist in career preparation, resume assistance, and interview preparation. We will also help to identify jobs in your industry that you are qualified for. Whether it is 1 day or 1 year after completing our course, we will always be available for guidance. We are partnered with local & national companies that are always looking to hire in your area!
You will earn the NATE® (North American Technician Excellence) Ready-to-Work credential, which recognizes you as an entry-level Technician/Apprentice. You will also get the OSHA 10 card, which allows you to work on any construction or jobsite nationwide. For HVAC and Appliance Repair specifically, you will also obtain the EPA Section 608 license, which permits you to purchase, handle, and dispose of refrigerants and coolants. The course price includes all exam vouchers.
