The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), is a federally funded program established by the Department of Labor and Department of Education, aims to reduce obstacles for individuals struggling to secure quality employment. WIOA supports individuals entering or re-entering the workforce by providing the necessary skills and certifications to obtain high-demand jobs that lead to sustainable careers. A WIOA grant can help cover the cost or training programs and lead to national certifications in the trades!

Funding is provided through American Job Centers (AJC). You can verify your eligibility here.

The amount varies based on several factors, such as your state or region, the funding assigned to your local AJC, and additional criteria.

Once you’re deemed eligible and appropriate for a WIOA Training Account and have completed all necessary paperwork, evaluations, and assessments, we aim to get you started as quickly as possible. Courses are available on a weekly basis.

You have received notice of an impending termination or layoff. Additionally, you are either eligible for unemployment benefits, have exhausted your unemployment benefits, or are employed at a facility that has announced it will close within 180 days.
